There is a lot more happening at Speicher 210 than what is reflected in our projects – for example our new website. The designer Michael Kahl from Stuttgart/ Germany and the web agency 4Morgen from Mainz/ Germany supported us in realization of our web presentation.
So, what’s behind all this?
We would like to inform and to sensitize small and medium-sized companies to Business/IT alignment. This term has strongly established itself in recent years. ITs influence on business processes is increasing due to constant development and innovations. Many large companies and affiliated groups have learnt to place alignment of IT to corporate goals high in management’s agenda to create added value.
Business/IT alignment applies not only to large companies: A constant redefinition of IT requirements also is necessary for SMEs that are strongly oriented towards IT, e.g. web shops. One of ITs principal tasks is to exploit growth potential. Furthermore, information technology and IT processes must deliver a measurable, flexible and direct contribution to business success.
Speicher 210 is therefore supporting small and medium-sized companies in professional project management and in all topics related to Business/IT alignment in its role as coach. The new website is providing more information on our job as project manager as well as Business/IT alignment coach. We have also completely revised project descriptions and business cases that introduce you to our projects. Our customers have the floor, too.
