In his book “The Black Swan” bestselling author Nassim Nicholas Taleb analyzes the influence of highly improbable and unpredictable events that have an enormous impact.
According to his theory there are three principles that are characterizing Black Swan Events: They are unpredictable, because nothing points or seems to leed to their occurence. Black Swans have a massive impact and it lies in human nature that we are seeking for an explanation for their occurence making them seem less unpredictable, although they weren’t.
